As a social scientist, Mareike focuses on analyzing the digital strategies of the far right, with a particular emphasis on their targeted instrumentalization of gaming communities. A passionate gamer herself, she believes that gaming is more than just a pastime. It is a significant social space that deserves deeper sociopolitical understanding. Over the past four years, she gained valuable experience as a monitoring consultant at the Amadeu Antonio Foundation. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Tübingen.
